Identity verification privacy and deletion requests

This article explains BorrowHive product behavior. It is not legal or tax advice, and it is not a safety guarantee.

BorrowHive uses a secure identity verification partner for verified-person checks. BorrowHive keeps identity verification separate from asset-label mailer verification, address checks, payout onboarding, and verified inventory.

What BorrowHive keeps

BorrowHive stores verification status, dates, review status, and related support records needed to run the service safely. BorrowHive may also keep a limited verified-person record on checkout, tax, owner policy, dispute, and support records.

BorrowHive does not keep raw ID images, selfies, full document numbers, or biometric details in ordinary support records.

Deletion and privacy requests

When an account-deletion or privacy request covers identity verification, BorrowHive asks its verification partner to remove or limit identity evidence where policy allows. If follow-up is needed, BorrowHive support coordinates it without asking the member to resend sensitive identity images.

BorrowHive support must not ask members to send ID photos, selfies, full document numbers, or verification screenshots through ordinary support forms, email, chat, or BorrowHive messages.

Do not send ID photos, selfies, full document numbers, or verification screenshots through ordinary support forms, email, chat, or BorrowHive messages.

What deletion does not change

Deletion or privacy processing may remove or limit identity evidence, but BorrowHive may still keep records that are legally required for payments, tax, trust and safety, account deletion, and disputes.

Verified-person status is not a background check, not a credit check, not an address guarantee, not a guarantee of safe behavior, and not a BorrowHive endorsement.
